Offering in person and virtual therapy in downtown White Salmon, WA

Therapy That’s Right For You

Drawing on a range of experiences and training, I offer individual therapy services and parent coaching tailored to the unique needs and capacities of each person. Influenced by the healing elements of time outdoors and the understanding that all people are influenced by the interdependent and interrelated components of life, I start exactly where you find yourself and co-creates therapeutic plans that support healing and growth.

As a mom, wife, and someone who has navigated postpartum depression firsthand, I specialize in supporting mothers through life transitions, feelings of disconnection, and the struggle to feel seen and understood. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, strengthen your voice, and build the relationships you long for.

Explore a couple of therapeutic modalities I use in my practice.

  • Your Story is Powerful! But how you tell is just as important. Change occurs by externalizing problem(s) and creating a new narrative or story, which emphasizes your competencies and strengths. We will highlight the unique outcomes that occur when you focus on a different storyline than the one holding the source of your presenting problem(s).

  • I lean on the profound benefits mindfulness in most sessions. It is seamlessly embedded in many therapeutic approaches that support lowering anxiety and general life satisfaction.

  • DBT is a type of behavioral therapy that aims to change behavioral, emotional, and cognitive patterns associated with dysfunction by helping you improve your emotional and cognitive regulation. Change happens through mindfulness, developing skills to manage distress tolerance and emotional regulation, and improving interpersonal problem solving skills.

What Sets Me Apart

  • And so can you.

It was super scary. I didn't have help and felt very alone. I never want a mom to feel alone in this. Postpartum depression is so common and there's not enough information and support around it. Mine lasted for 4 years. I tried prescriptions, gardening more, getting away...but what I really needed was to be seen and understood. A place to scream my frustrations and cry about the injustice of it all.

I now work with many woman who want to heal and show up for their families and themselves. Book a free consultation and see if Im right for you.

  • I have worked with young people for over two decades as an educator, social worker and therapist. I have sat as co-facilitators with teens in support groups, hiked across mountains alongside them and worked through loss and pain with them. I specialize in working with teens because I believe in them, understand them and believe in their unique abilities.

  • I was born in Kenya, Africa, raised in Brussels, Belgium, and didn’t learn how to read and write in English till 5th grade. I speak Spanish and French and have spent most of my life traveling or yearning to to.

I am available for services in Spanish. I am also still an active student as I continue to hone in on the therapeutic language needed to adequately explore themes that may arise in therapy. Please accept my humble apologies for my mistakes. Though I am still learning I am also making myself available for Spanish services due to the lack of Spanish speaking therapists in our region.
