Therapy That’s Right For You

I specialize in supporting women through EMDR therapy, helping them process trauma, anxiety, and the deeper patterns that can keep them feeling stuck. I understand how overwhelming it can be to carry the weight of past experiences while trying to show up fully in your present life, and I bring both clinical expertise and grounded compassion to this work. Whether you’re navigating motherhood, identity shifts, or long-standing emotional wounds, I offer a space where you can safely process what’s been held in your body and nervous system, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a greater sense of clarity, confidence, and ease.

I specialize in EMDR; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR is a powerful, research-supported therapy that helps people heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences by working with the brain’s natural ability to process and integrate memories. Rather than requiring you to talk through every detail of what happened, EMDR uses structured bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to help your nervous system reprocess stuck experiences so they feel less overwhelming and more resolved. As an EMDR therapist, I support clients in gently accessing what feels ā€œstuckā€ā€”whether it’s past trauma, negative beliefs, or emotional triggers—while staying grounded and resourced in the present. Over time, this process can reduce symptoms like anxiety, reactivity, and shame, and help you feel more connected, empowered, and at ease in your life.

Because EMDR works directly with how experiences are stored in the brain and body, it can be a particularly efficient modality for people who have already done significant talk therapy but still feel stuck or like something hasn’t fully shifted. Many clients notice meaningful changes in fewer sessions compared to traditional approaches.

To support deeper processing, I typically offer extended 90-minute sessions scheduled every other week, allowing enough time to move through material without feeling rushed while also giving your system space to integrate between sessions.

As a mom, wife, and someone who has navigated postpartum depression firsthand, I specialize in supporting mothers through life transitions, feelings of disconnection, and the struggle to feel seen and understood. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, strengthen your voice, and build the relationships you long for.

What Sets Me Apart

  • And so can you.

It was super scary. I didn't have help and felt very alone. I never want a mom to feel alone in this. Postpartum depression is so common and there's not enough information and support around it. Mine lasted for 4 years. I tried prescriptions, gardening more, getting away...but what I really needed was to be seen and understood. A place to scream my frustrations and cry about the injustice of it all.

I now work with many woman who want to heal and show up for their families and themselves. Book a free consultation and see if I’m right for you.

  • I have worked with young people for over two decades as an educator, social worker and therapist. I have sat as co-facilitators with teens in support groups, hiked across mountains alongside them and worked through loss and pain with them. I specialize in working with teens because I believe in them, understand them and believe in their unique abilities.

  • Having been born in Kenya, raised in Brussels, and learning to read and write in English later in childhood, I bring a deeply lived multicultural perspective to my work. Moving between cultures and languages—including fluency in Spanish and French—has shaped my ability to attune to different worldviews, communication styles, and experiences of identity. I understand what it can feel like to navigate unfamiliar systems, hold multiple cultural narratives, and exist between worlds. This lens allows me to approach clients with humility, curiosity, and cultural sensitivity, creating a space where diverse backgrounds, values, and lived experiences are genuinely understood and respected.
